Birdman Project
The aim of this project was to create a game using a theme which we got from the film “Birdman”, using the ASGE engine in c++.
This was the first real collaborative project I have worked on in ASGE. This brought its own challenges with it.
What were the issues?
I think that the only real issue with this project was working in a group. Working out how to organise a git repo with more than one person and using branches to work in. However, this issue was rather fleeting as quickly, the team learned how to use the system.
What was good?
I think that we took the ideas given to us in the film “Birdman” and abstracted it to a good level, making sure that we kept to a theme shown in the film but with a whole new aesthetic.
What would I have done differently?
If I could have done anything differently, I would have made the game longer and ironed out some of the collision bugs in it.
